Centurylink Horrible Customer Service - Internet Service

I have dealt with a handful of horrible companies, but Centurylink had by far the worst customer service along with the most incompetent employees i've ever dealt with. I called to set up only internet service, and was asked if I wanted to rent a router, and told the employee no, since I had one of my own. (Centurylink still sent me a router through the mail) I was then told it would be 4 days until service could be set up. When I called to cancel my service 2 days later, I was told it was cancelled but they could not provide me with a confirmation number stating that the account had technically not been set up yet and was not assigned an account number. A couple weeks later I received a bill in the mail. After over an hour of dealing with horrible customer service reps, I was told t.v. service was initially cancelled (which I never signed up for in the first place) Be very careful when dealing with a dishonest company like Centurylink, that will add services and sneak additional items into your service plan even if you tell them No. I was given a router rental and t.v service when I called to set up internet service only. I have no idea how a company, like Centurylink, with no integrity or ethics is still in business. I thought Comcast was a bad company, but I would recommend any other cable provider over Centurylink.
