Worse experience ever

Don't get me wrong, when I started with CenturyLink I was estatic, set up was easy, and I had someone from the company who knew what they were doing install it. But then I started receiving bills, I had purchased the $54 a month internet package, the first bill I received was $119.70. I was like wow, but I figured it was probably because of the installation. Ok so I went ahead and wrote them a paper check for that, all was good, I saw it clear through my checking account. Next month I get a bill saying my total was around $200, that was unacceptable. It was saying I had never paid the month before. I then proceeded to only write them a check for the amount I knew I was suppose to be paying, which was the, $54. I saw it clear through my account once again. I found out later that I was going to be moving to Missouri, I called and cancelled my internet service with CenturyLink, since I wasn't going to be needed them where I was going. On the phone the customer service lady helping me cancel was very rude, and short with me, gave me a confirmation code and that was the end of that. Month later I receive a bill in Missouri for $260, I didn't pay it because I knew I couldn't of owed that due to the fact that I had been paying them and seeing the checks clear through my account. This month of January 2017 I kept getting phone calls from CenturyLink about my bill. I finally called them back and asked them what my balance was and they said $353!! What??! They said I have never made a payment, was being charged early cancellation fees and late fees. I couldn't believe it, I told them I saw the checks clearing through my account, and they said it may of went into someone else's account and I should call my bank and get the check numbers and amounts they were written for. I didn't understand why I had to do all of this work for their mistakes, but I went a long with it just to get this nightmare over with. The woman at my bank was very helpful, she found the check numbers, and assured me they were for CenturyLink and went through. I called CenturyLink back and gave them the information I got from the bank, they said they didn't have it on file and were very rude AGAIN. They told me I needed to fax all of my information to the research part of their company, thanks to my bank they faxed over photo copies of my checks, with the endorsements on the bank to CenturyLink, yet I haven't heard anything back!
