I don't even have service yet and I want to cancel - century Link Internet


First of all, the technician went to the wrong place. Then, after waiting another week for another technician, we get one scheduled and he says he will be by in the afternoon. No time frame, nothing. Around 5:30pm I call him and he said we were taken off his work order. What?! After waiting all day long, we were taken off without us even knowing. THEN, we speak with someone in customer service and he says it's already set up. How is that possible if no technician has been here?! He proceeds to tell us that our modem is on its way and we can set it up on our own by following the instructions. So after waiting AGAIN (mind you this is 3 weeks after I set up service with this god forsaken company) my modem arrives, I follow instructions and the DSL light is red and it's not working. I called customer service and the very rude customer service representative tells me I don't have authorization on my own account. Now I'm just livid!!!! I won't be continuing service, nor will I ever recommend your company to anybody I know. Thanks for nothing.
